I've been noticing some atypical activity on the site lately that seems to be bot driven. It's creating issues with site traffic that may cause us to go offline. If this happens, please check discord for updates.

Logged in this afternoon after being away for a while.  I noticed that when I went to "Unread Posts" & "Updated Topics" I got some sort of page not available error.  Right now as of this login, there doesn't seem to be any issues.

I updated the forum software a couple versions and that seemed to stop the flood of bot induced errors. However, I also occasionally get an intermittent 503 unavailability error.

Not sure why, but I'm still vigilant.

Interesting.  That's the error I saw yesterday and again today.  Sometimes a refresh page works sometimes you have to hit the back button a few times and start all over.
