Chinese World of Tanks Coming

Slight correction: it won't change gameplay.

WoT is wildly popular, but it is essentially an FPS game with a tank overlay. If that doesn't turn you on, adding Chinese tanks won't help.

Ive really been impressed with the last few patches.
I still cant stand having Cold War tanks in game but whatever.

The number of players hasn't changed much in the last year, unless you play during one of the 5x events. Pub matches have become a joke, the new game modes have been abandoned by most players. When was the last time they added new maps, after removing 4 or 5.  Surprised physics didn't change things that much, most of the Chinese tanks are nothing but copies of tanks already in the game. 

Has WOT run out of new ideas? What's the next big thing for WOT?

There are a lot of reasons I don't like WoT but when I have time I play it anyway. The main thing I DO like about it is that it's an FPS shooter with a tank overlay but it's not very twitch-oriented. It's a slow-paced _thinking_ shooter. I still have problems with aiming due to using a thumb-mouse and being fairly imprecise compared to other players but I appreciate that it's not a twitch-based adrenaline-fueled game but a slower paced shooter.

theyve been revamping all of the older maps to the new graphics.

pretty good job so far.  the last patch also started the british tech tree.

Dont play pub matches. Im in a clan and we have a great time playing in clan wars and company battles. If all your playing is pubs then you are missing out on most of the fun.

I dont know about that.  all I play are pub matches and I abuse myself by just using the German tech line.

All I play are pub matches, and I'm still having a great time. Some days are better than others, of course, and some nights I can't seem to buy a win. On those nights, I usually end up rage quitting and doing something else with my time.

But I like WoT a great deal as a quick gaming fix that takes little thought. Some nights my brain is just not up to playing WitP:AE.

That being said, I'm not a fan of a Chinese tank tree. But then again, I'm sure the Chinese clientele out there, are very interested. This is a global game.

at the rate theyre adding non-ww2 tanks I should have a M1-A2 TUSK by next Christmas.
