Hmm, what you wrote about the game does sound good Jarhead. I thought things like supply would just be abstracted. I guess the trailer is just a bit misleading/tailored for the regular RTS crowd.

I like RTS games, but mostly if they only want to be RTS games and don't try to be wargames at the same time. If you say that it's fairly realistic and, within the confines of the engine, a decent representation of Cold War warfare, it might be worth checking out, especially as we both seemed to like World in Conflict so I can assume that we at least share some tastes for these kinds of games.

I think JH is right. Once I figure out how to play, I think I'm going to like this game.

Also, if you liked RUSE, you probably will like this game.

RUSE is not much of a clickfest compared to this.  Not my commend but from a RUSE player.

Did I miss any mention of the single player mode?  If I were to buy, that likely is the only mode I would play.  Any good from that perspective?  Would it be worth purchasing for that reason alone?  Game sure looks pretty and interesting, but concerned looks primarily like a MP game.  Thanks.

Yes...it has a campaign mode and a skirmish mode that you can play against the AI. Definitely worth it in my opinion.

Sadly. Multiplayer is the only way to go.  I suck at mutiplayer RTS so I'm scared to pull the trigger.

My video card seems to be playing nice these last few days. I may fire it up again here and give the SP a go.
