Unfortunately, I will be spending at least part of Saturday playing, "work".  The upcoming Thanksgiving holiday in the U.S. has put my schedule out of whack.  However, I will get some game time in and it will be Civ IV BTS MP and CKII.  And in order to join a Groghead's Friday Rumble, I will be exploring Warlock Master of the Arcane.

I'll be playing Commander The Great War and also some Warlock, to check out the new Armageddon DLC.

Left 4 Dead 2 during the first weekly Grogheads Friday Rumble.  Don't forget my maple bars Gus!

Squad Battles WW1 will be bought and played before the end of the weekend.  So awesome.

Definitely some Skyrim, definitely some L4D2 (I ate all the maple bars already), perhaps some Warlock and of course...Commander: The Great War. All I need now is a steampunk  dose and my life will be complete.

Have to work most of the weekend, but all is not lost.  Tonight I am looking forward to some L4D2 action at the GrogHeads Friday Rumble.  Then hopefully I'll get some Commander: The Great War in as well as Wargame: EE.  Also tomorrow night looks like a boardgame night at a friends house.

I will play my newly bought Commander: The Great War  ;)

Worky work here to, but offset to some degree by the journey of the Wife and Child to a distant location, leaving me to work and play more.

When playing, I will be playing (I think)  CMBN:CWF and ATS Scottish Corridor -- two views of the same battles in some cases.  The Germans seem to do better in ATS -- maybe because in solitaire I have to play them too, whereas against the German AI -- for me at least -- its the little sneaky things that pay off, though yesterday, I got bogged down trying to rescue a tank crew.

I'll be delving into more roguelikes, but also Commander: The Great War and COD:Black Ops II, MOH: Warfighter and possibly some Shark Attack Deathmatch! Really want to find time for Phantom Leader, but I just know there won't be any left.

I'm setting up the Warthog for some sorties of War Thunder and Blackshark. I'm finding that WT is causing some odd simming habits. In WT Planes are repaired for free by waiting 1-2 hrs, so tend I to play a round, switch to BS for a mission, and then go back to WT. This helps to maximize the experience gain in WT.

Later in the day I plan to re-install VASL per instructions from GJK

I never realized that Vassal could be customized to automatically setup based on the scenario being played.

I just bought Silent Storm and the two Blitzkrieg anthologies from GOG.com, so I will probably be playing them for at least part of the weekend.

Then there's my usual WoW, Civ5, and Warlock to round out my time. I'm not sure what else will strike my fancy.
Regardless of how good a PC game may be it will always have its detractors and no matter how bad a PC game may be it will always have its fans.

What I'm looking at:

Commander: The Great War
Scourge Of War Gettysburg
(this one will take over my life again, if I start it up I'm sure.. then force me to buy Antietam as I've planned)
War Thunder beta
Alea Jacta Est
Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup
Divinity II Director's Cut

A barrel full of other stuff sitting on my desktop, waiting..

That's quite a list.  :-\

What I say I will do:

• continue the opening moves of my Great Invasions campaign. (Playing as EastEmpire, Ghassanids, Armenians, Lazycians, Franks and Irish, plus Catholic Church and the Eastern Orthodox when they arrive. Would have chosen fewer or only one faction, but I'm acting as lead for a group gaming session and we wanted a good slice of different play situations. Took me a while to tweak the game files for starting though.)

• Warlock with its new patch and expansion is looking increasingly irresistible.

• XCOM (PS3 version) finally arrives Saturday for my birthday.

What I will actually do:

• wonder Monday where my weekend went and why I didn't play more; resolve to play more things over Thanksgiving holiday.

Guild Wars 2

Crusader Kings 2.  I haven't a bloody clue what I'm doing but I'm enjoying it!  The manual sucks.  It's relatively thick for a modern manual but it's mostly about how to use the interfaces, which is entirely redundant because the tooltips show you all that.  It contains precisely sod all about the actual concepts and mechanics.
