Last winter was mild, but the year before that the combined ice and snow almost crushed my roof. It would snow, then warm up, then rain, then get cold again, and the ice slab on my roof was almost impossible to get rid of. I still love winter though :)

We got it easier around here last winter.  However, this winter come the new year they are predicting it will be pretty bad.

I'm ready for a bad winter, since it magically got up to nearly 70 a few days ago here in Illinois. I hope it snows a lot like a few years ago (21 inches) because I want one last winter out with my 4x4 Dakota before I sell it.
