Made my one and only big-ticket item, holiday sales purchase....Martix's Command Op's: Battles from the Bulge.  Finished the outstanding tutorial and tutorial mission; one of the best tutorials I've have ever seen/played.  What a deep yet very challenging game.  Looking forward to some of the other missions this weekend.

Turns out I don't have to work Saturday at all!  w00t!!!  So, bob, if you've got the time tomorrow morning, I will, too.

@tgb, hope your wife is ok.  Prayers on the way.

After seeking opinions here, I think this may well be my self-administered Christmas present, too.

JC does some amazing stuff with Arma II and his tie ins to the DCS stuff, doesn't he?

@tgb - hoping for a speedy recovery for your wife!

I'll probably be playing some more Panzer Commander Ostfront and Actung Panzer Operation Star.  I watched all of the BSG Blood and Chrome episodes on Youtube this evening so I'm thinking I may need some space action as well.  Not sure if that'll be Distant Worlds, Gratuitous Space Battles, Space Empires IV, or SOTS II yet though.

I really need to play a couple of more turns of Decisive Campaigns: The Blitzkrieg from Warsaw to Paris that I'm supposedly doing an AAR for.

I was going to do the DB and main quest in Skyrim, but I think I've found a bug in the latest version of the game, that makes doing the Dark brotherhood quest line really difficult. Every time I go into the Falkreath Hold area, the game CTD. Riverwood or the half moon mill are about as far as I can go before it happens. I've tried uninstalling all of my mods and I get the same thing. I only started getting it after I started the DB quest line. That being the case I'm probably going to just run around and take screenshots with my new lighting and grass mods. Probably get some CK2 time in as well, going to turn the game onto slow and read The Hobbit, for the first time, while time ticks by.

I may play some X-Com or give Fallen Enchantress another try as well. I really want to get into SOTS2, but with working long hours and a lack of sleep, I haven't been in to mood to learn anything new.
PanzersEast: Have to think to myself.... will I play the first one by the Winter Sale?  Probably not, then I should remove Dragonfall
PanzersEast: but that is thinking too logically.... and Steam Sales are about ignoring Logic

I'm going to be busy with tourist stuff and family stuff most of the weekend, but if I get any computer gaming in it will probably be M2TW: Crusades (vanilla) and CK2.

@Gus, I think you'll be fine with the TrackIR4; that's what I have.  I have the clip that goes on your hat and I highly recommend it.  It will just make your life easier in the long run.

My computer was on but I didn't see anyone post here so I went downstairs to watch the pilot episode of American Horror Story...DAYUM that show is f'd up.

Thanks for the advice Toonces...I have some unused Amazon gift cards so I can get the TrackIR 5 for about 100. Gonna buy it tomorrow.

What don't you like about Dishonored?

It just isn't grabbing me at all. I've been powering through a number of games recently, so I might just need to step away and do something else for a bit.  Or it just isn't a game that's ever going to work for me.
