Gygax Returns to D&D?

I don't claim to fully understand all the issues involved, but it kinda sounds like much ado about nothing, at least for now. 

Either way, though, I will say it sounds like a blatant attempt by his family to cash on his name.

That's the problem. Which family? His widow or the kids from his first wife?

The kids from the first wife are some of the original creators of D&D.  Maybe they're trying to cash in on the name, but I think they've earned their street cred from having been present at the creation
