Good question... I believe they are all different, however Eador and FE are closer than Warlock.  FE allows you to customize your units + heros and has pretty good diplomatic options.  Eador and FE are similar with the hiring of heroes and equipping them with items and spells.    FE allows you to cast spells on the cities themselves and also allow you to build in certain areas that have different benefits and the maps can be quit large giving you more strategic options.  The game plays differently, however there are elements of Eador in FE.  I would say they overall play differently enough for a purchase at that price, I really enjoy both.

Also, I like the combat (+combat options) in FE and the inclusion of animations is better.  FE is a very polished game and the different fractions and lore is very interesting and each faction plays very differently.  A recommended purchase.

Sure it can.  It's a different game.  Warlock is mostly about combat for one thing.  Eador is more similar but still plays differently (not to mention looks a hell of a lot worse (yeah I know, graphics whore blah blah, but pretty is a feature ;))).  Fallen Enchantress is, I suppose, like a fantasy Civilisation, but definitely has its own concepts such as the magic system.  Like Eador, it's as much RPG as it is TBS.  Actually, although I haven't played Eador much yet, from what I've seen FE is probably heavier on the RPG side than Eador is.

I'm babbling, but the bottom line is yes, it's worth it, especially at this price.  FE is a really, really good game.

$8 for FE is an *absurdly* low price.  This is a very deep, very polished game.  I can't imagine anyone would think they'd 'wasted' $8 on this.  buy it.

All those people who buy it on sale are welcome to be grateful to me buying it not on sale, thus helping subsidize your entertainment.  :P  ;D

Nothing wrong with being a graphic whore.

... ..... wow, that sounded so different in my head before I typed it out...

(trying again)

I have no problem at all with Fallen Enchantress being a pretty graphic whore.   :D

... ..... I am so tired of being here at the office waiting for a truck to arrive so I can load our final shipment for the year and go home. :P
