War of the Roses (50% off on Steam!)

Heads Up People! For today only you can pick "War of the Roses" on Steam for $14.99.  I bought it a week ago for $22.50. If you like Chivalry, you should also grab this one, especially at this price. I think like Chivalry you will find things you like about WOTR as well. IMHO they both complement each other in their own ways.

This discount is different from that.  During the holiday sales many of the games bought on amazes on received a $5 credit voucher for any games purchased injanuarynthat were own amazon editors list.  War of the roses is on the list so you can pick up for $9.  Not a bad deal.

How do I justify having both of these games?

Easy to justify having both as they are different. chivalry is about individual combat. wotR is about tactics.  It's like CoD vs. BF3.

Gentlemen, You must buy WOTR, simply because I can't wait to hear your opinions and comparisons to Chivalry. I've spent most of the last week playing one and then the other. I like them both for different reasons (similarly to what Jomni has expressed.) I just wish I could pickup the melee fighting controls in WOTR like I have in Chivalry. I spend more time in WOTR as an archer because you can pickup the long range controls much easier. Getting a head shot in WOTR from a great distance is a blast though.

I think it would be interesting to have an all-archer match in WOTR since some of the maps are pretty expansive and the ones with castles have multiple levels with good LOS vantage points. Maneuvering around in an archer match using stealth to gain a good location for a kill would make for a great game.
