Also I should mention SDR did carry our team in the last game to defend the castle.  I got several kills, but not nearly as many as SDR, even if you don't count the friendly fire incidents.  8)

Ugh.. the Temptations.. get Chivalry or Roses (again bought Roses for my 13 year old last night, so would be able to play with him)...

I did prefer BF3 over COD, so does that make me a Roses Candidate?  On the other hand Mount n Blade is one of those games where I get Nauseous, is Roses sort of the same engine?

You'll get more nauseous in Chivalry so Roses should be ok.

You'll get more nauseous in Chivalry so Roses should be ok.

Agree with Jomni, here.

Chivalry makes me a bit nauseous, even with FOV cranked and in a less widescreen format.  WotR - not really.   I think it has to do with how close the ground looks on the sides of the screen, when moving, in reference to the view in the middle of the screen.  The peripheral distances & movement just don't sit well with me in Chivalry's Unreal engine whereas WotR doesn't have quite the pronounced difference (and looks prettier to boot).  It also takes more practice to be proficient in it, and still needs the upcoming combat update to improve some mechanics to make it a bit faster.

Chivalry gets to me sometimes, but I've never had any problems with WotR.  I'm kind of a motion sickness sissy, so if I'm ok I think you'll be good.

A good server makes all the difference.  Command Tent and I played a few rounds on a heavily populated server but, apart from the first map, the play kind of sucked.  Not enough people trying to complete objectives.  Everyone just diving into melee and flailing like med men.  Lots of team kills.  Lots of high level discourse in chat. "LULZ, your a reterd.....FUKK U FAGGET!!!!!" and the like.

On the plus side, I did complete the hammer track for the knight.  I don't think I like the 2nd and 3rd tier hammers.  Too slow and you have to give up your shield to use them.  1st tier hammer is pretty good though.

SDR was doing alot better than me, I went 1 and 16 during the second round.  Very embarrasing.  :-[  Although I am going to take SDR's advice and try some servers with less players to try and get the hang of things.  Still it is alot of fun to run around hacking people's arms and heads off.  Until the motion sickness sets in....
