Picked up on this over at SimHQ. You need a copy of Battle of Britain 2 Wings of Victory in order to install this update but it is well worth it!

298 MB download from Gamershell.

Wish I could get BOB working on my machine.  I haven't been able to get the gfx to render properly ever since I switched to Vista and then Win 7.

Have been following this from the BDG gang for a couple of months.... the great thing about this update is they have finally fixed the escort problem with the Luftwaffe campaign.  The escort issue broke that side of the campaign so I will have to give it a go.

Looks like the base game, BOB2, is just $13US for the download version at Matrix right now. I bought the game ages ago. Now I have to find out what old HDD it's archived on.  :-\ One of these days I really need to get myself one of those multi drive external enclosures.

Thanks Shelldrake - very timely - I picked this up as a boxed DvD game just the other day at play.com

(- actually I got the Battle of Britain 2 History of Aviation compilation with BoB2 (Wings of Victory) plus F/A -19, First Eagles and Strike Fighters Gold for a mere £4.94 (incl VAT) compared to just BoB2 Wings of Victory at Matrix for £15.99 plus VAT - no brainer really.)

Don't get me wrong I like Matrix because they publish some quality games that in many cases you just can't get elsewhere, but I don't get why Matrix are almost four times more expensive - in their sale! :o - for a product already in the marketplace and for what is essentially a lesser product when you consider the bonus games in the compilation? Do they sell any of these, I wonder? That said I'm planning to get some Battle Academy DLC later. ::) ;D

BTW - Check out Battle Academy at Matrix - it's a lot of fun to play.
The most shocking fact about war is that its victims and its instruments are individual human beings, and that these individual beings are condemned by the monstrous conventions of politics to murder or be murdered in quarrels not their own. Aldous Huxley

Most frequently referenced film ever? (and a personal fave).

I will have to look at this as I do have BoBII and I need some Battle of Britain goodness.
