I am sorry.  I am getting my ass handed
to me in two online games right now and
my frustration is coming out.  I just was remembering
the last Void discussion I was in.  It was unsatisfactory.
I wish I had kept my thought to myself.
I had no wish for this to become personal.
I am not upset that you took the time to point out you find this tiresome.
And you know I did not mean you or anyone in particular.
I realise I am cranky I am going to bed

Okay, thanks for the level-headed reply.  I can understand some of the frustration coming through in posts, I certainly do it on occasion too. 

Sorry if I got you worked up about it at any point.

Well thank you for being gracious.
I was getting ahead of myself and I was wrong.
It is a sore point with me, the reaction of a very SMALL MINORITY to free stuff.

Ian, on Wargamer said that he told them they had to remove Take Command as they did not have the rights to make that offer.. Wonder if it made them rethink the others... I mean.. they're generating revenue from the ads? Doesn't some of that revenue go to the developer? Or on the other hand.. was the revenue for that ads not that much, so they changed their mind on it..

Was looking forward to checking out King's Bounty when my 9 days wrapped up!

Not sure what ads you're referring to. Wargamer is owned by Slitherine. The only ads I've seen on it are for Slitherine's products.

Yes, and the thing that bothers me about it is that the more players who participate in programs like VOID, the greater the chance that advertising will become a part of all PC games. Everyone likes a bargain, but there ain't nothing free.
Regardless of how good a PC game may be it will always have its detractors and no matter how bad a PC game may be it will always have its fans.

As far as I could see, the only 'ads' was when you were downloading.... I agree, ads during the game, it would be better to pay the price to get rid of them.. Like I do whenever possible with Android Apps..
