Its still available on the Saitek site but the way I read it they are switching to the X55 but the price (list) between the two is the same.

The X52 Pro was on sale at Newegg for about $130 and I was thinking it would come down more after Christmas..Instead it is up now over $200.

At around $200, I'd just suggest getting a CH Fighterstick and Rudder Pedals.  If you place a premium on the stick's mechanical performance anyway.  I'll be happy to never mess with cramped handles and heavy springs with uneven resistance ever again.  The CH Fighterstick made me a believer.

I second Kushan's assessment of Distant Worlds.  Obviously not everyone agrees (I know Huw in particular isn't a fan), but IMHO you get a lot of great space 4x gaming with the Universe package. 

Hey, don't listen to me.  As usual I'm in the minority on this one; most people think Distant Worlds is amazing.  For some reason. ;)
