EVE Online??

I'v been playing EVE on and off since 2005. Started as a miner, but shifted my focus to trading after I found out that playing the market is far more profitable and secure. Losing too many Hulks to gankers in hisec was too much for me. Don't get me wrong. I love the fact, that losing your ships is possible no matter where you are. There are ways to defend yourself and I neglected them. Entirely my fault.

I love small scale pvp in EVE. But it's hard to come by. Most times I wasted my nights roaming around in my Rifter, Jaguar and Wolf, without getting any action at all. The few times something actually happened were awesome though.

That's actually the kind of stuff I wouldn't mind participating in, for nullsec.  Wormhole exploitation, for example.  Group ventures.

It's just that 1) I'm flying solo right now until I find a Corp, and 2) Flying through low and null sec solo is just a deathwish via gate camp from what I understand.  Considering I'm still only flying Level III (maximum) missions in a BC, I'm fine with working up my faction standings while pulling in a small but steady income doing so.  Up until I've trained and figured out how to do some fancier stuff, anyway.

I actually just joined a pretty solid mining corp. Are you interested in mining ops? We run around 6 or 7 guys - bunch of retrievers and covetors with one or two orcas to pick up the jetcans. Payout for an hours work is in the 10 mil range. It's not great but it's fun to cooperate and take out rats together, mine an asteroid belt into oblivion, and then move along.

We're based out of Stegette which is med-sec space but it's pretty safe there. Search for Skord in the corps panel and we should come up.

I just don't have any interest in mining.   :-\ 

This will probably just be one of my usual 1-month subs.  A flight of fancy once I realize how much time it sucks down.  Time that I actually notice.
