My thoughts and prayers go out to those slain in the recent shootings over in Moncton.   I'm hoping they catch this guy soon before anymore victims. I've got some family spread out around there, haven't heard much yet.  Crazy..

24 and recently fired from Walmart.

Apparently he wasn't fired.  He quit, and told his boss that it was likely that he'd never see him again.  It also appears that he was deliberately targeting the police.  I've heard that they're bringing in the Army from nearby CFB Gagetown to back-up the police at roadblocks.

A lot of those verses on his FB page are lyrics from Megadeath songs.

Seems like he was targeting police specifically.  There is some speculation on the Canadian Gun forums that what pushed him over the edge was the acquittal last week of two RCMP officers in the 2013 shooting death of a Moncton man armed with a knife.
