I'm having problems with the mouse as well.  I bought the full version from steam 2 days ago.  I'm running in 1600x900 resolution.  You have to click multiple times on a button in order for the command to take.  There is no visible sign that your command was accepted in the refit or expand buttons under the factory window off of the map.

I had problems with mouse sensitivity however the in game settings slider for mouse sensitivity worked excellently for me.

Did lowering the mouse sensitivity help with the multiple-click bug?

Lowering the sensitivity and the resolution to 1024x768 helped a bit, but the problem is still severe enough to make the game unplayable for me

Okie, I'll see if I can work it in this week's todo list! Hopefully I can get it fixed for you by the next patch.

No that did not help.  I will try to lower my screen resolution to 1024x768 tonight and see if that gets rid of the multiple clicks on a button problem.

Set the mouse sensitivity to zero (all the way left) while on 1024x768...

But yea, I'll see what I can do about the click triggers.

Ok I had some success lowering the screen resolution setting and setting the mouse sensitivity all the way to the left.  No more click problem on the factory retooling or resizing screens.  The only click problem I've run into now is changing the lighting during the body modification screen in the R&D department.  Certainly not a show stopper but a somewhat irritant during body and accessory design.

Hold down the light buttons, it should move a bit more smoothly.

I've adjusted the click time amount values. It'll be included in the next patch. Hopefully this fixes your flaky click bug. If not please let me know on here, on steam, or on my forums.

Thanks!

Sounds good.  When will the next patch be out?

W8taminute

Thanks for working on this issue Eric.  Look forward to the next patch.  This is a real enjoyable game.

Most likely Friday, but don't quote me on that.

Sorry to bump and double post, but the patch has been pushed. The mouse clicking issue is still there if you're running high resolutions but is not there with smaller ones...

Sorry, I'll keep at it until It gets fixed.

W8taminute

Thanks for the alert.  Will try out the new patch this weekend!

I restarted Steam and at 1024x768 I couldn't actually start a game because in the creation screen I kept clicking on "continue" and nothing would happen. Is that considered a higher resolution?
