Yup, bought it, like it. It's been updated on a regular basis. I haven't played for a few builds but if you like management sims i'd get it. the sale so far isn't grabbing me, no prices you really haven't seen in other sales. If CK2 complete goes for a decent price, i'lll jump. I'm waiting for a complete version before i jump, if not i'll wait...no biggy....it's not like i don't have other things to play ::) I've bought gunpoint and monaco, tally $4. I'd recommend gunpoint if it's your type of game, it's fun and funny and it has workshop support. I'm on my second play through already, the first play through took me 6 hours and i'm slow. This time i'm trying to go through sight unseen, which is not to say i'm not going to put a beat down on some guards...they just won't see it coming

I like it. I know the aliens are a bit cartoony and it's nowhere near as deep/serious as Distant Worlds but I think it's fun. I've been wanting to play a game where you start in the real Sol system for some time.

It's kind of like a classic MMO2 game that's been graphically updated. I had no expectations when I bought it and apparently the major issues got fixed with the update so I'm happy.

I'm getting fun out of it. It's got enough tactical/strategic thinking required (not on a great level) to make it a worthwhile purchase, for me at least.

Hey Grim, about your earlier Skyrim question... no, you don't have to re-start a new game with the DLC. The new areas and quests just appear in your old game. Sometimes a new castle or location related to the new DLC will show-up where there was none before. But beware the new enemies can show-up almost anywhere and may surprise the hell out of you with some of their new abilities.

Will they please stop selling games this cheap, my hard drive can't take much more.

You can also disable/enable DLC from the launcher, so it doesn't interfere with your current game. You can enable it later, when you've completed the first game or have reached a higher level. Either way, it will still load a saved game with enabled/disabled content.

So far I've spent a grand total of £9.  It was easy.  I recently made the decision to stop buying games that aren't available in Linux because I've had it with Windows (and dual-booting).  So I just put £10 in my Steam wallet and browsed the Linux bargains.  It was actually difficult to pick enough games, but I eventually went with:

This is the first thing to tempt me in this sale...  Will have to see if I can resist...

I was considering...but read on forums currently requires a constant internet connection whic constantly streams data...is that true?  I know the final version will have offline mode though.

Yeah, don't buy this. I just wasted $17

I had to register with their stupid net service, which crashed twice. It requires constant connection, and seems to be very multiplayer focused - I couldn't even figure out how to play a SP skirmish.

To much going on, not for me - I'll just keep playing Supreme Commander.

On the bright side, I didn't waste $60!

Its pretty easy to set up a single player skirmish. For $16, this game is a steal.
