Yes - but not private beta patches. I think public beta updates and general release updates are available to people it is not registered with.

What might be a problem, but I don't know, is playing online (if it ever works)....not that I would likely play online - having no desire to dedicate and arrange time to play someone else

I knew I shouldn't have loaded that app....~$725 :-[ since Dec 2009 and I suspect its probably a lot more than that based on all those "free" ones listed in the Steam Transactions :'(

~$912.00...185.00 of which are gifts! Ouch anyway though. But only about 1/3 of J/D's damage. God knows what JH will post with.
