So JD and Nefaro, with all this game playing, seems like your enjoying...does that mean your about to become full fledge owners of the game soon:)

Asid

Tonight the following went into battle: Judge Dredd, Nefaro (CO), Yskonyn and Asid. We had a platoon of Leo2A5's against an OPFOR of T80's, BRDM-2's, BMP-2's, Infantry, RPG Teams, Tunguska's..... We had to advance to the objective. Eliminate any enemy threat within and hold it until reinforcements arrived. Simple? Read on.....

The Mission Map

We managed to get into the objective and all we had to do was hold for reinforcements.......We did not count on the counterattack First to go was Nefaro
Leo2A5 Nefaro destroyed by T80

Asid was also to fall foul of the enemy counter attack!
Leo2A5 Asid destroyed by T80

Then after destroying many enemy came the turn of Yskonyn...He to fell to an enemy T80!
Leo2A5 Yassy destroyed by T80

When it seemed all hope was lost...Judge Dredd stepped up. How could one man stand against a tide of T80's, Mech infantry and RPG teams?

The enemy drew first blood!
Leo2A5 Judge Dredd Hit by T80

The Judge replied!
T80 Hit by Judge Dredd Leo2A5

And again!
T80 Hit by Judge Dredd Leo2A5

His enemy fell!
Killer Shot by Judge Dredd Using Leo2A5

He fired again though the beast was dead!

T80 Destroyed by Judge Dredd Leo2A5

The Judge was surrounded but he had fight left in him!
T80 Destroyed by Judge Dredd Leo2A5. It was getting messy. JD had his knife out!

Beneath a tide of T80's the Judge fell...He could not hold on any longer!
Killer Shot on Judge Dredd by T80. He had just over a minute left to hold the objective!

The carnage!

Note. A lot happened that has not been shown....This day however went to Judge Dredd.

Yes.  I foresee myself playing regularly.  It's deeper than I expected.

I could still just get a monthly license whenever needed, but I would like to use it on more than one of my PCs.  Buying the dongle would be the logical way to go for that reason alone.  There have also been plenty of multi-player gaming opportunities so that isn't something I'm worried about.

I'm starting to get tempted.  You all are on TS?

Your being too kind Asid. Actual day probably went to Yassy for 12 kills! Outstripped everyone else.

I was last man standing, but that's easy when you're hiding. Seriously though - really, really good fun.

In my defence I had been spending all my time practicing gunnery in the Challenger II and even though the lads gave me the basics of targeting for the Leo - my short term memory kicked in full swing and I rapidly forgot...so I think I blew a lot of holes in the ground!

At one point I requested reloading - Nefaro as Platoon Commander said ok. A few minutes later I told him I was done, to which he replied "Cover me whilst I do the same"...so I did, then I realised I was covering him with my Coax...at some point I had interrupted my reloading and it had stopped - so I had no HE or SABOT loaded. Luckily, it was a lull and he was in no danger. I did fess up as soon as a realised - that's the kind of guy I am!

I'm faffing around on the battlefield at the minute...being told contact east and me looking at the map and thinking "Where the hell am I?"...confusion on reloading, not understanding limited ammo (it's not like BF4 where you can pick up an ammo pack and be restocked), no "waypoint" markers when you're told to go somewhere - you have to check the map for the ref point.

But even given all that, I'm having great fun with it.

Asid has been superbly patient and Nefaro and Yskonyn have great to battle with. Organised co-op is definitely a huge amount of fun.

Thank you.

Right-click the map screen and select "center on my position", then zoom in or out until the confusion fades. :)
