Asid, you mentioned this in an above post "The new printed manual is about to be released."...do you have any info as to when and where there is a link to that being discussed?  I would like to keep tabs on it in case I decide to make that purchase, but certainly would want the latest.

Hi Grim.Reaper

The release for the new physical manual was between July-Sept if i remember correctly. I also appreciate a physical manual but have had great success with an e-reader. There are many useful pdf documents in the SB install folder.

I will let you know when i get more info.

I really wanted the printed manual - but 2 things are stopping me...
1. I'm in the UK (I hate paying for shipping - it seems like just a total waste of money)
2. It changes due to updates. I presume only for the major updates - but still...

So I think I may be stuck with the e-Manual

Thanks Asid and JD.....just for some reason I seem to better focus on reading when I have physical copy in hand.  I really think that is why I don't enjoy some games because I don't take the time to read the manual and understand them.  That is why I probably enjoyed games better back in the 90's when all of them came with big useful printed manuals for the most part.

I was considering just taking the manual to a local printer, but recently it seems everyone I try they won't print out because of the copyright notice and such.

I have been busy at work guys. No tanking for me lately, but I am sure I will be back soon. Leave some BRDM's and T-72s for me please! ;)

Hi Grim.Reaper
I find it easier to read a PDF magnified... maybe I'm just getting old :) . The SB PDF is well laid out and easy on the eye. If you have access to an e-reader then try it and let me know :)

Update on revised printed manual

It is going to print on 11-08-14

Grim.Reaper it will most likely be cheaper and higher quality than getting it printed locally

Here is a picture of the complete package with Disc + manual (pay extra). This image contains 2 discs and 2 manuals. You only get 1 of each.

There has been no indication of a price increase. I would wait to order it until the page is updated and says "(3.xx). See the picture it shows currently manual version 2.654.
