Hahaha. Well, I figure they're going to find the little brat otherwise there'd be no point to making the club go all the way to Ireland. The episode I'm watching right now, they just showed up and the police tried to jack them. As long as the kid isn't an ongoing central plot point...the series is going to lose my respect if someone doesn't knife the kid or throw him off a cliff or something. Figuratively/fictionally speaking, of course. And yes I realize that's not going to happen.

The kidnapped kid thing is a pretty useless plot point with zero twists to it. Nobody's going to kill a baby off in the show, and you can see it coming a mile away. So what's the point other than "okay, Christ, let's lug the entire frigging plot line allllll the way overseas to Ireland and go on a merry snipe hunt that's sure to be loaded with 'uh-oh! look at THIS twist we cooked up' plot points which are all going to work themselves out in the end anyway so let's just waste everyone's time because we all know they're going to find the little diaper-filler anyway."

The Season 3 finale is pretty epic and the episode with Stephen King is still one of my favorites.

dont get me wrong.  I really like SoA.  overall its great.  then again I like The Walking Dead.  that show has more stupid then.... then.....
it has a lot of stupid but its good.

Even in the middle of watching Season 3 as it was ongoing, I thought, 'The show is going sideways.'  There was some good stuff still, but I was ready for the Ireland shite to be over about the time it began.  The best part is, there's a Season 4 ;)

I just finished the fourth season late last night. Two more seasons on Netflix (5 and 6), and then 7 is the final season, right? I doubt Netflix will have Season 7 up soon though I think that concluded last month. If anything I can find other sites hosting Season 7 if I need to.

Oh boy did it ever pick up after the Irish side trip nonsense. Great stuff.

I said it before, Kurt Sutter's greatest achievement with Sons was in creating an amazing set of characters, sociopaths on bikes, each with their own motivations, histories and personalities. Kurt avoided typecasting and gave us reason to care about the Sons, even while wincing at their most egregious behavior. I don't think such a large ensemble cast has ever been so well fleshed out, and by the end of the run we knew them all of by heart. Kurt's failure was writing too many weak storylines. Kurt's success was making us love the unlovable.

Best show ever? No, but it will always be in my top five. The Wire was amazing from start to finish but you never cared for the characters like you did the Sons. Breaking Bad? IMHO, the final season was the best year of television any show ever had, especially the final eight episodes. Breaking Bad was a show that grew stronger each year. Sons was a show we loved despite it's flaws. Kinda like how we felt about the Sons themselves.

You may be kinda screwed on Season 7.  At least legally.  Although, I never went looking for prior seasons before the new one came out.  Usually, the previous season would come out in August, right before the new season premier in September.  Now that there are no more new seasons, you might find it easier to get.

I guess my preference to avoid paying to see it overrides my preference to do it legitimately.  >:D But I will be honest if they have a PPV version; SOA is worth it.
