I don't even rate on the scale for having a lot of cards.  My daughter and my Pokémon card collection is much more modest.

I'll +1 to Bison's comment that that isn't a lot of cards.

I've never seen anyone with a huge collection but it's my understanding that if you're really into the game you'll buy at least a case of cards upon each release. I don't think Bison has even one case of cards on that table (nice table btw).

I'd much rather sort cards than punch counters.  Neither is a blast but at least there is some variety in the impromptu inventorying of CCG/LCG cards.

The fun part of sorting cards is reading the card texts and thinking about how or if you can use them in a deck build.

^Agreed. I actually find sorting cards to be quite relaxing.

That is a good site Bob.  I also really like this site http://www.mtgvault.com/.  I really enjoy looking at other peoples deck brews, drooling over cards I do not and never will own, and thinking about how can I make a similar deck.

I'm quite excited about this one. I like the sound of the mechanics. How it will be liked during actual gameplay will become apparent.

I was dragged into a game of Castles of Mad King Ludwig at the gaming cafe over the weekend.  It's generally not my kind of game but it ended up being pretty fun.
