Very spiffy! I used an old wire mesh office supply tray I had laying around yesterday to make a dice tray. Lined it with felt and it works a treat.

Very nice Bob!  My only suggestion would be a model that has lower side walls on the tray itself.  I made a couple of towers and found that I'm having to lean over to peek down inside the tray and if I'm using it at a F-t-F game, then it becomes bothersome for my opponent to have to do the same.

I found this one on that Etsy site that people were talking about in another thread.  It's certainly cheap enough so I may just pick up one of these.  The tray walls certainly are low.  Only disadvantage with this one though is obviously you could only roll a standard d6 it looks like.

They're not as bad as some of my early dice tower designs  :-[ .  How quickly do the dice shoot out in to the tray?  If you have enough going on inside the tower to slow the dice down, then you could probably trim down the sides if it's really that much of an issue (if at all).  One of my early designs had the dice shooting out at rocket speed despite all the back and forth shelves and other gimmicks that I was putting in there.  It got so gunked up that half the time the dice would get stuck in there or if not, they'd come shooting out of the tower and out of the tray and often go rolling across the game board which defeated the entire purpose of the thing.   ^-^

I put 2 angled and padded 'baffles' inside which slow down the dice quite a bit. The main problem with it is when you have a lot of dice in games such as NaW. Unless I use quite small dice they tend to jam up a bit. Other than that, it works quite well and its much quieter than some I've seen. Its the first one I've done, so (if I ever get around to it) V2.0 will have a few modifications.

Preparing for a game of Churchill at the local gaming group on Saturday...  Too bad it only supports three players.  Quite a bit of interest.

Take pics! If there's enough people you could form "governments" and play that way for each power.

Forgot to take the camera.  But managed to get two good rounds of Churchill in.  We all had a pretty good time with it.  The game is fairly easy to learn...but definitely difficult to master.  Will definitely play again.
