Order of activation is crucial.

Note that you must delete some default files before you install the sound mod.

I've had it running all morning. must of started back up i'm at 64% now. Thx Asid. So whats all included in this download, by the earlier post it sounds all inclusive i.e sound mod, latest update, ect.ect. I haven't bought the game yet, wanted to get all the pieces first, probably buy next friday and get everything up and running next weekend.

Hi Budd

It has everything you need apart from:

•   4GB patch. It is ONLY for Windows 7,8,10 owners. (see attachment)
•   GMP1.x Missions (optional)
•   GMP2.x Missions (optional)
•   GMP3.x Missions (optional)
•   Any Weather Mod (optional)

Before activating the STA mod you should:
Delete these two folders:
- data\k42\loc_rus\sounds\speech\ger
- data\k42\loc_rus\sounds\speech\tank

How to apply the 4GB patch
It is only for "starter.exe" and "shell.exe"
1. ...Steel Fury - Kharkov 1942\starter.exe
2. ...Steel Fury - Kharkov 1942\bin\rel\shell.exe

You will need the Mod enabler JSGME.

Ok its downloading from GG. I've got the patch and the first mission pack and JSME so i should be good to go. I will follow your instructions sir. thank you. I'll let you know how it turns out. Are there tutorial missions that explain how to control things like in SABOW?

Well i got it installed and i think i got everything in the right spots. the missions wont start, no matter which mission i choose. I installed, applied patch to starter and shell files, deleted those sound folders, put mods in mod folder and applied the mods.
This selection screen comes up when i start the game


Ok i pause the timer and select english, no luck, select default, no luck this screen comes every time i pick any other language but russian.


Ok, i stick with russian and get to the splash screen


set my video options to my desktop resolution 1920X1080 and thats all i change. No matter what mission i pick it just drops me to desktop. I did unload the mods and started the game and tried the tutorial at my desktop resolution but its not wide screen and its ugly and i cant read the tutorial text.
Here's what i have in JSME


I've tried reversing the order of the mods, also tried without the mission pack, none of the missions will start. Any help would be appreciated.
