I put all my manuals on my ipad.  Actually makes them more worthwhile as I can now look up information without having to alt tab between screens

They like to throw in the hard cover crap to make pretend it's worth the 'premium' price! :crazy2:

By the way have you ever managed to play a game of MWIF without crashes or bugs galore?

Really never got far.....seems to be under constant state of updates with no clear end in sight......biggest waste of money I have ever made on any given game, at least for me.

I finished the tutorial / Barbarossa scenario of WIF. :)  But that doesn't really show all the features.

Good

Until I see pricing, I'm not convinced it is optional, per se.   Just because you don't get it doesn't mean you don't pay the same price as the boxed version for the download version.. see World in Flame and what they ended up doing there.    I can't imagine getting this manual.  It will be out of date so fast.   Unlike WIF, which is based on a boardgame, so they really don't have to change the rules to balance it, just fix bugs.  So the manual doesn't really go out of date so much.

Netplay still doesn't work.   Almost a year since release and it still doesn't freakin work.   Plus, they can't even start the AI programming until all the bugs are fixed and netplay is working.  So, at this rate it'll get an AI about 2023.

True...but at that point Matrix was trying to solve a specific problem (shipping to Europe) without pissing off people that already bought and paid for it.

I'll keep my fingers crossed.  I get that it's going to be a "premium" product, and while I don't play them enough to justify the pricetag, I do want them to keep making them.  ;-)    I just don't want to be gouged for the cost of a manual I do *not* want.    I'm still pissed as anything about how badly WiF has turned out, but I do love the books....

I play with myself.  I know net play is broken.  All in all i also consider it a waste of money.
