I have half a mind to create fictional soldiers for this game, like Delta Force Chuck Norris, Rambo Sly Stallone, Commando Arnold Schwartzenegger, Red Scorpion Dolph Lundgren, and so on. But of course, at a relatively astronomical point cost.

Then the game would be too easy  ;D

The key to surviving this site is to not say something which ends up as someone's tag line - Steelgrave

"their citizens (all of them counted as such) glorified their mythology of 'rights'...and lost track of their duties. No nation, so constituted, can endure." Robert Heinlein, Starship Troopers

Not if you were only allowed one, and no other soldiers.  8)

Cyrano

Commando Ahnuld:

1.  No reloads (as above).

2.  No weapons used by Commando are subject to recoil penalties or weight limitations.

3.  Sleeveless shirts count as body armor +1.

4.  All shrubbery behind which he is hiding is impervious to gunfire.  This is true even if the shrubbery only come up to the Austrian Oak's waist.

5.  May not be hit by any ordinance while smoking.

6.  If player is able to make witty -- or perhaps not so witty -- remark, count 1d6 suppression on targeted card.

One mustachioed, cigar-chomping, bespectacled deity, entirely at your service.

You didn't know? My Corps has already sailed to Berlin. We got there 3 days ago and we've been in the Tiergarten on the piss ever since. -- Marshal Soult, October 1806

( 8 ) No 'aimed shots' allowed - all fire must be from the hip, but is just as accurate as an aimed shot itself.

I was thinking something more of the lines of this....

Sorry for the graphics, it is something I came up with quickly... but would be fun to unleash Storm Shadow or Snake Eyes on stealth into a new location....

Nice work PE. His 'Unarmed' needs to be around '3' though.  :2funny:

Lol... yea... you are right.  I have not worked on the stats, but it will be fun to setup a group of weapons or that character. Or maybe a Predator  :D

yeah!   a Predator and an Alien card to mix into the hostiles deck when playing jungle scenario 8)

...which directly lead to a stand alone "Warfighter"-mechanics "Aliens" (the movie) game  ...with Ripley, Vasques, Bishop, Hicks, those other Marines, Flamethrower, Rifles, and Tracker cards.... Mission objectives and location card ideas come natural to mind ...from the movie themes O0

I think we landed on a fan-made print-n-play possibility here, fellas.

in the meantime i sorted in my footlocker and browsed through all the cards  ...and so came the idea to build an virtual 'Armory'  :)
Pictures i can use to think a little about outfitting a team for a mission abroad checking the picture references on my PC, tablet or even the cellular

so i laid out one piece of the Equipment-  and Skill- cards each in a kind of 'meaningfull themed' grouping arrangement...

(You get the idea
...to keep Dan's copyright save i uploaded an extra reduced resolution here, so the rule-text gets unreadable, esp. when zoomed in on it
PS: one Skillcard is missing ...its the one from The Russians Set that i don't have,...yet)

- on a side note:
Do you guys use/plan to use   sleeves and which brand/type do you recommend ?
