Okay, I do have a few exceptions in mind: Arkham Knight and the Command Ops refurbish/rebuy for example.

But still. Gennneralllyyy I want to see how far I can get this year without buying any new games (than what I've already preplanned).

I would still be playing new games, because I have an absolute ton of those already, from many previous years.

I have enough sense not to start a new Monday Game Finish thread series this year, since I just don't finish games often enough to keep up with that.

But we shall see.
ICEBREAKER THESIS CHRONOLOGY! -- Victor Suvorov's Stalin Grand Strategy theory, in lots and lots of chronological order...
Dawn of Armageddon -- narrative AAR for Dawn of War: Soulstorm: Ultimate Apocalypse
Survive Harder! -- Two season narrative AAR, an Amazon Blood Bowl career.
PanzOrc Corpz Generals -- Fantasy Wars narrative AAR, half a combined campaign.
Khazâd du-bekâr! -- narrative dwarf AAR for LotR BfME2 RotWK campaign.
RobO Q Campaign Generator -- archived classic CMBB/CMAK tool!

I don't think I need to buy any new games for the next 10 years :P

I'm thinking I can get to at least May without any game purchases. DA: Inquisition will consume my free time until at least then.

We always have good plans on day one of the year and we'll have the same plans again next year:)  As I said in the other post, I am not even going to bother fooling myself going forward into thinking my purchases won't be the same....I accept my weakness.

I'm on board Jason. Together we can build the strength to keep games at bay

I have a shed load - and all bloody good games.

No purchases for me on the horizon

Does the fact that I've already purchased, but have not yet received, CM: Black Sea count?

May I be excused when CM: Bulge comes out?  After all, it's a CMx2 game so, strictly speaking, is NOT a "new" game.

I also wish for an exemption when I purchase all the PzC games I don't have as I likely won't play many of them, but will spend my time examining the really awesome maps and comparing them to my reference books.  This will, therefore, count as a book purchase, not a game.

And when all the other kids on Grogheads keep talking about Elite: Dangerous, I wish to be allowed to purchase it too because I don't want to be "that guy" who doesn't have, you know, Elite: Dangerous.

Gentlemen, the fact that the vast majority of the foregoing sounds nearly reasonable to me is proof sufficient that Mr. Pratt's and the Judge's resistance will, indeed, be futile.

Doug -- We have to figure out a way to post a CM: Black Sea day 1 AAR directly to Judge's optic nerve.  I could take this as a challenge...
