They don't go out of their way to make the fuel source a plot point in Iron Man.  They do go out of their way to explain the density thing in Ant-Man.  They should at least be consistent.

The Arc Reactor? It was a pretty big plot point in IM and IM2.

All of Stark's impossible tech is explained away with, "Tony's a genius".  ::)

It's a lame explanation but at least there's consistency to it. In Ant-Man, the chick goes out of her way to explain to the audience that the guy still retains his mass after he shrinks which is why he can hurt people when he punches them.  It also shows a bunch of establishing shots demonstrating this by having him get blasted through walls, crack floor tiles, and dent metal when he falls on them.  A little logical consistency would be nice.

Carrying a tank in your pocket? I sort of missed that aspect of it.

What bothered me was driving the tank out of the 2nd or 3rd story of a building and surviving.

The arc reactor was powering Tony. But in IM3 when the suit flies, piece by piece, to Miami, that's not arc reactors

As improbable as the arc reactor is, I agree the independent and fully autonomous suit pieces was really stretching it. IM3 had a lot of dumb things in it. When Pepper started using her Extremis powers and turned all Human Torch, her sports bra should have burned completely off.

I don't think I watched all of 3.  I started watching it on a flight but slept through a lot of it.  Besides, isn't it now tradition that the 3rd film in any comic book movie franchise has to suck?

The reporter badgering Tony before he looks into the camera and tells the Mandarin to come get him, is the wife from all the silly family parody videos like "Christmas Jammies" and "I Like Big Bus" and "All About That Baste"

They live about 8 houses away and we chat with her husband at the pool all the time.
