He is a fan of the science fiction series Star Trek. Abdullah was born in Amman to King Hussein during his marriage to British-born Princess Muna al-Hussein (born Antoinette Avril Gardiner). He was the king's eldest son[1] and as such he was heir apparent to the throne of Jordan under the 1952 constitution. However, due to unstable times in the 1960s, King Hussein decided to appoint his brother, Prince Hassan bin Talal, as his heir.[1][3]

Abdullah began his schooling at the Islamic Educational College in Amman. He then attended St Edmund's School, Hindhead, in England, before continuing his education in the United States at Eaglebrook School and Deerfield Academy in Deerfield, Massachusetts. Jordan has always been the moderate one among the Arab countries in that area, generally stable but weak as well. They've never been excited about the wars against Israel (except maybe the first one in 1948), and they stayed out of the Yom Kippur War completely.

I worked with a battalion of their paratroopers who were on the UN peacekeeping mission in Haiti when I was there in 2010. They seemed like pretty good soldiers, at least better than the Brazilians we worked with. They murdered us in a friendly organized soccer match we played before our battalion pulled out.

Reports say that Jordan has commenced airstrikes against IS-hole targets in Syria.

Jordanian state-run media did not specify where the strikes took place, but U.S. officials told Fox News the strikes by 20 Jordanian F-16s took place at Thursday at 1 p.m. local time near the ISIS stronghold of Raqqa, Syria, and said "lots of ammunition" was expended. They said U.S. Air Force flew air refuellers and radar jammers in support.

The returning fighter jets roared over Al-Kaseasbeh's hometown in southern Jordan as the king paid a condolence visit to the pilot's family, and the monarch, himself a former general and special forces commander, pointed at the planes as he sat next to the pilot's father.

One question I have not seen answered is where the frakk IS-Hole keeps all its stolen oil money. Supposedly they make obscene amounts of cash from the oil wells they control. That cash has to go somewhere. Do they keep it under their filthy mattresses? If it is placed into the international banking system for safe keeping then there has to be a middleman (bank, country, multinational company) to launder the ill-gotten gains. It should be possible to figure out who that is and attack that entity financially and make the whole Outlaw Caliphate thing a bit less lucrative because, at the end of the day, behind all the raving nutjobs there have to be some regular old greedy warlord crimebosses who have simply monetized the so-called jihad.
