Saw this documentary this week. It makes interesting (and quite scary) viewing. It is essential viewing for civilised people - the destruction of artefacts is shocking, but you start to understand it too. I saw the results of the same outlook in Turkey years ago at Heliopolis from when Arab raiders raided the Byzantine Empire, but it also happened in Mali against Sufi shrines, which are not pre-Islamic.  You really don't want to sleepwalk into letting this organisation expand any more ... quite the opposite. :o :knuppel2:
