Werewolves?  Some of my favorites.  8)

Also-  enemy have a big navy swarming around your shore, as the AI sometimes does?  Build a Ghost.. buff with waterwalk spell, destroy his fleet with one unit.  :D

Alright, had a very successful yard sale this weekend and bought the game. Lovin it but I keep getting quests to build temples to tgods and for the life of me I can't figure out where to build them. Any ideas?

Temples can only be built on holy ground...and you'll have to deal with the Fire Elemental that is usually guarding it first.  Also, the holy ground must be within one of your cities...

Yes, resource: Holy Ground.  Look for hexes with a glowing spot w/ a pulsating ring and a Fire Elemental...

Holy Ground hexes is a bit rare on the regular world map, I think they're more common on the other planes.  It's one of those premium properties.  ;)

Ah ha that would explain why I can't find a place to build one. I can barely survive in my world, I haven't even considered entering the other one that I found.

I think I need a +100 considering some of the monsters that I've seen coming through.  :)

The 'other worlds' befuddled me as well. The game had enough going on in the primary world. Oh and LB how dare you not mention the Air Galleon unit...that is some dark sorcery kewlness right there. Not as effective as I would like it to be, but very kewl anyway.

After reading the review on here and seeing all the positive comments, I sprung for the game.  I'm having a GREAT time!    My thanks to all of you in the community who recommended this game!

New patch today too. Bug fixes. All saved games were getting saved at normal difficulty.
Rocket Scientist by day, Game Designer by night.

Yesterday's patch as posted by Dev over at Paradox:

Patchnotes v.1.1.4.28 ( Hopefully go live today on 21st of May on Steam)
- Changed Domination victory conditions - now it is enough to control >50% of Holy Grounds in all worlds combined (it was needed to control all of them before)
- fixed crash with click on news about new building in destroyed city
- fixed no upkeep bug with units in transport stance
- fixed exploit with clicking on debuffs
- fixed difficulty settings bug
- fixed experience gained by Powerful Lords

My current campaign is on normal,huge continent world,8 enemies. My Mage is the one that looks like a little girl, forget her name. I have most of one continent with an enemy to the east and one to the west. At war with both, and trying to conquer an Other World. Othe world full of red and gold dragons, fire elementals and various other lessor nasties.

Took and then lost a city to the western enemy on his continent. Managed to build a holy site which gave me access to some kick ass paladins. Great in combat but expensive to build and maintain.
Took 6 paladins into other world and started kicking some butt. Captured a bear den that gave some kind of super bear. He's good at killing dragons. Managed to get 1 city built there so far, and am farming red dragon eggs! Too expensive to build one yet... but soon.

Once I've clear the other world of baddies I'll build more cities to other goodies.
2 wars and my other world campaign have really chewed through my money reserves so it may be awhile before I can advance.....

Fun little game.
