TheCommandTent

In my current campaign a small border skirmish with another mage has turned into a full on battle that is threatening my newest city.

I may have missed it but it doesn't seem like my cities health regenerates, does anyone know how this works?

City health does regen but it's very slow. If your city is damaged you need to make sure you have a healthy unit stationed in it to help absorb damage.

Thanks I figured it had to be something like that.

Do the DLC's add anything other than new mages/units/races?
If it looks like chicken, tastes like chicken, and feels like chicken but Chuck Norris says its beef, then it's beef.

The current DLC just adds two unique units that you can purchase for your mage at game start.  Lose 'em and they're gone.

While they might be some early strength that can become pretty good after all the xp they'll get (if kept alive), I've never used either because they cost so much of your precious purchase points.  I'd rather have production bonuses or starting favor with a god.

I finally downloaded the demo last night, so I'll be giving it a bash later.

I hear they're adding the option for including the Unity spell as an insta-win.  That's good.

But I really hope they adjust the AI's constant diplo demands.  Hell, I often end up rolling them w/o planning on it, whenever they give me an ultimatum and they're busy fighting other Mages.  :-\  Even just adding some extra conditions to the AI scripting of it could do wonders.
