1/. lots of kids have fucked up parents and turn out reasonably well
2/. lots of kids with good intentioned parents turn out fucked up
My doctor wrote me a prescription for daily sex.

But how many kids who were kidnapped after their mother and big sister were murdered, then watch their kidnapper (& murderer of their mom & sister) blow his brains-out as the police close-in, turn out al-right?  A small sample, I agree, but still!
