Doing some quick searches, nothing abnormal is popping up.

The guy was looking for love. His photo bucket was full of Minecraft pictures. I was hoping that would be more revealing.

At this point, there is no indication this guy was a Muslim fanatic. He listed religious views as: Pagan, Wiccan, Not Religious, but Spiritual. Why he would ask about religion?

I think pretty much at this point, he's just your garden variety loser.

there are now other reports starting to surface that the guy on 4Chan might not have been the shooter after all.  Someone with his screen name has been in contact with local media, but unknown if it's someone using the shooter's account, or they are actually different people

I'm not prepared to rule out an radical islamic link. Apparently, the shooter has a myspace account with at least one contact who appears to be associated with or a supporter of Islamic terrorists.

Jarhead, you may be right. There's more to this story that we don't know. But there are some hints coming out.

The New York Post identified the dating site as SpiritualPassions.com and reported that Mercer used the screen name "Ironcross45," a possible reference to a WWII decoration awarded to Nazi soldiers.
