No, Star Trek isn't for everyone.  I long ago recognized that it's going to appeal to a certain segment of the population, but probably not much outside that segment.  Not everyone is going to love it -- kinda like Star Wars.  :)

I like both but Star Wars more chaotic universe appeals to me more. But the Bad guys have really got to give-up on the whole Star Destroyer concept. Three Rebel strikes and you're out.

+1....they must have the worst engineers employed since they always have a small flaw in their design:)

But if you are going to build and use it, make your first target the Rebel/Resistance so there is nobody left to blow it up:)

Just returned from my second viewing. Had my older daughter next to me the whole time and she enjoyed it again as much as I did. I got a little teary-eyed this time at some scenes because I happened to be watching with my own spawn. People in the audience still applauded too. Will probably see it once more in a theater (hopefully IMAX) and then call it a light year.

Did you notice things the second time around that you missed the first? I did. I'll wait until I see if they're real hints at things or just my imagination before I comment further.  :-X

I did as well and even more when I went the third time:)  You pay a little more attention to the small things the more times you watch it.....I believe it comes out to video in March/April, so will even have more times:)

Just went to see it.  Liked it a lot.
