My first Minden Games Game  ;)  Advanced Salvo!  European Theatre.  Going to setup a little battle of the Denmark Strait for the first run through.......

Cool! can you grab a few pix of the setup, and maybe a 1 or 2 turn DAR?

Yes I can, once setup I will do a play by play with photos.

I've wanted to check out one of their more advanced solitaire warships games, but have waffled for quite awhile.  While I've seen some stuff regarding the more basic packs, I'd definitely prefer one of the heavier versions.

Interested in hearing about your experience.

Sorry have not posted back, but to be honest I got bored through the battle.  There are basically three actions available to the player.... Close, Broadside, or retreat.  On the players mat there are just not enough options for me to keep me interested as it is just continual dice roll without much interaction for the player.  I may try again with some adjustments.

That's the impression I got from vids on the Basic sets. 

Had hoped that their "Advanced" stuff was actually much more advanced.  :-\
