StarDrive, Lords of the Black Sun, Gemini Wars, Sol Exodus, Horizon, etc.

Stardrive was unfinished, Lords of the black sun is bad and unfinished, Geminis Wars had some nice ideas (The story and the mood was cool) but was a cheap game and Sol Exodus i don't know. However, i've had lots of fun with Horizon which is an excellent and solid indie game and one of my fav 4x in the last few years.

Now, from what i have read here and on the page from Iceberg, i think it's possible that this new game is being done by the same guys (Arkavi Studios) who made Lords of the black sun with a new company name. Caution is advised but i'll still keep an eye on it. They may want to have a brand new fame.

I thought about you when I was typing that list, and hesitated adding horizon because I know you like it, but I found it boring, bland and silly. Just my opinion though, I realize it's subjective,

I don't have a problem if you don't like the game but think the game is in a different category than the others who were left half abandonned.

First thought: "Hmmm...new 4X game, might be interesting, let's see what this is about."

Next thought: "Uhm, Iceberg huh? Almost guarantees it'll be half finished and end up abandoned, probably want to be cuatious here..."

Final thought: "Oh, it's the same guy that did Lords of the Black Sun? Well, that's a complete non-starter. This is Stardrive/Stardrive II all over again."

It's a shame, but Iceberg has almost wrecked the genre.
