My only real complaint about it was that they obviously didn't put much into the soundtrack. 

I don't normally give a damn about soundtracks, but this thing only has two songs.  And they play them repeatedly throughout the whole flick.  Therefore, after hearing "Shoop" for the fourth time, the accursed thing got stuck in my head for a day or two. 

A bit more variety in the sequel, people!  So I don't have to be mentally assaulted by TLC and DMX afterward. 

That pain was well worth it, to see the movie!

I forgot to say that a friend and I went and saw this last Monday (Feb. 22).  Loved it; we couldn't stop laughing. 

The only critiques I noticed are overall quite minor:  Some of the more self-referential and/or fourth-wall humor did feel a little...forced/overdone, and the villain was two-dimensional to the point of being cartoonish, but honestly that's about all I can think of.  No doubt fans of the comic books would find more to criticize, but I personally found little to complain about.  O0

I'm a BIG fan of the comics, especially the Marvel Zombie run that featured Deadpool. I have nothing to criticize, personally. The movie captured the Deadpool comic experience very well for only being a 90-minute view into his world. There's of course much more to it (like the relationship Deadpool has with Blind Al, and many other things), but like I said, they hit just about everything about the Deadpool comics that I loved, and the self-disparaging humor (especially towards his playing GL) was just frosting on the cake.

Cable's face looks pretty dang aged all the time anyway (depending on the artist), so that won't be a problem.

My wife and I saw Deadpool for the first time this evening.

Wonderful romantic comedy!  Boy finds girl.  Boy gets girl.  Boy loses girl.  Boy eventually gets the girl back.
Lots of kissing.  Beautiful pull-away, wide angle shot with romantic Wham! music in the background!

We loved it.  Best movie I've seen in several years.

Wife wanted to go see it for her birthday, so we went to see it.  It's the most entertained I'd been at a movie in years.

The post-credit moment was the bomb-shizzle, too - as soon as we saw the hallway we knew what was coming ;D

I'm fighting off some bronchitis right now, so laughing too hard sets off a coughing fit.  I'm going to have to see it again when not sick so I can catch all the lines I laughed through.

The knife-in-the-skull slow mo moment, on the pavement, was pretty romantic, huh?  And goddamn hilarious.   

I didn't realize the comedic writing brilliance came from the same guys who wrote the Zombieland script until after seeing it.  Now I'm not so surprised it has been successul.  O0
