The humour is just outstanding. The lines, the come backs (and both not just from Deadpool), the music, the slow mo sections...and how the hell they can make a spandex covered face with no features except two white eyes so full of expression was fantastic.

The whole cinema was laughing almost the entire way through - which really was a tad annoying because you didn't hear the follow up line at times - but you couldn't help yourself.

As for Ryan Reynolds, yeah - he's in it and you see him now and again - but mainly it's about the guy in the red spandex suit. The only other film I've seen Ryan Reynolds in was Smoking Aces and I thought that film was fantastic and he played that part well.

I was thoroughly entertained for 2 hours.

And the trailers!! Batman v Superman, Captain America:Civil War, X-Men:Apocalypse...it's going to be a good year...but this film really will take some topping in my book.

It depends on what you like. If you like the trailers to this - the whole film is just filled with that humour.

Obviously (it goes without saying) watch the credits.

CGI is pretty amazing. I saw a picture of an assistant helping him adjust the costume and it was weird seeing 'normal' holes where his eyes were. I was wondering how much of the mask was CGI and how much of it was real, but apparently it was a lot of mask with just two eye holes just a bit bigger than his actual eyes. Guess it doesn't matter because special effects guys can do anything with anything these days.

I really really want to see this movie, and so do my kids (17 and 15), though I know my wife will shit a brick if she sees it...LOL.

JD, what's '15?' Does that mean nobody under 15 is admitted unless a parent is with them?

To be honest, just about every review I've seen so far has been positive to a greater or lesser degree. I suspect the main reason one wouldn't like the film is if -- like our resident exterminator here -- one doesn't like Reynolds. (That, plus parents of children under the age of 15 or so; lots of naughty language!) Otherwise, though, it sounds like a fun movie.
