Saw this on Steam on sale for $7.49. Anyone into this?  The price is right but is it worth the time commitment?

I think this is one of those games that's been in Early Access since some time in the early 18th century.  I know some people have expressed concern that it may eventually be abandoned.

FWIW you'll get a lot of game for $7.49.   Also it has added planets to land on and build on since that thread was made.

The game certainly hasn't been abandoned by the developers, for the simple reason that there is an update at least once a week.

How long it will take to finish the game is anyone's guess, but what I'm seeing is most certainly not vaporware (or at least that's what I would like to believe).

There are long discussions on the Steam site about where they're taking it, but I haven't read much of it because I would rather play the game than read about it.

This has been on my list for awhile now, anybody have any current play time with the lastest build. The forums speak says there are some major performance issues, and that the dev's communication is lacking.I don't mind early access and it's turned out pretty good in the games i've chosen to buy in early access but one thing i do require is good communication from the dev's.

There are literally weekly updates for this game. Talk about it possibly being abandoned, or poor communication from the developers makes no sense.

This is the best looking, most highly polished early access block builder on the market. I think it still lacks direction, so if you're the kind of player that needs a story, or to be led by the hand, then this probably won't jive with you. If you just want to build giant capital ships and space stations, you can't go wrong.

Steam really has been having some issues lately with their package deal pricing when one unit is on sale and another is not.

Rangerx3x....yes, I've seen this before on Steam where a bundled package costs more than if you purchased them separately.
