Don't believe there is a solo mode, other than playing both sides.

So, after all that I'm not backing it. Just too much money. I'll be backing OST Vol II, and I just bought a copy of Star Trek Frontiers.
Hope to pick up DVG B17 Leader at Origins next year or from NWS Online.

Too many games all at once.... not a bad time to be a gamer! :)

Pretty much the same here. I just backed OST II, and I've picked up a couple of the Battles of the Age of Reason games in the last month. On top of the stack of stuff I brought back from Origins that I've barely touched...

Just the other day I read a post on a different forum by someone bemoaning the "death of the hobby" and how wargames were over and done, couldn't be found, how he hoped that one day they'd come back, etc. I keep wondering in people like this live in a different dimension than I do.  :uglystupid2:

IIRC, the original RAF by TSR was indeed 2-player only, as you had to plot your moves as the Germans, and plan your air cover as the RAF. I think. It's been a while. I bought the game when I worked at Waldenbooks back in 1991 or so. Even if it had a solo variant, that version of the game pales in comparison to the RAF solitaire game (either version). In my opinion, anyway.

Well... maybe Jim will bring his copy to Origins so we can play. :D

My only question is which one of you sick SOBs will corner clip the wings on the planes.  :idiot2:

We'll only clip the wings if Cyrano puts stickers all over them and mixes them in with Wings of Glory miniatures in the same box.

I'm only bringing it if Doug and Vance wear the cute RAF skirts and move my pieces around for me.

No kilts, mind.  No kilts.

This will have the advantage of being an extra inducement for the 'stache to join us.  Memories of the Great War.

If Bawb shows up I'll have Vance wear the skirt.
