As usual, minor install issues for some people.  If you installed to a non-default directory, its creating the wrong folders.  This has happened in other releases as well.  I just learned the hard way to be very careful with the folder structure in CM.

I hope they pick up the pace of patches a little.  There are still a bunch of issues floating around for Black Sea and its taking multiple months between patches.  I am guessing at this pace Black Sea won't see its fixes for another six months to a year.

Also surprised at the lack of discussion or publicity about this one.

...and this is why Black Sea is the last purchase I make from Battlefront.

Last patch: Thursday, 30 April 2015

Give me a break. Battlefront is a fire and forget (to support) cash cow. I am in no way trying to influence others, but at some point the consumer needs to wake up.

I am just bummed BFC seems to be sliding away from what they were...a high-quality, no-nonsense, community-focused, independent company.  Even though they are still very small, they are acting more like a big gaming company.

....I'm not, guess most people fell asleep at thought of yet another bulge game.

Not me, Bulge is my favorite setting for WWII....however, I'll readily admit I have not played any of the Battlefront games recently....just so many games, too little time:(

I guess that is what I mean.  No matter what game was out there, CM stayed on my weekly play list.  It was like that consistently through CMBN and some of its modules.  I faded a bit after that.  Then re-energized on CMFI.  Faded for a while again because it was taking so long for patches and modules.  I played CMBS for a bit, but have never really played much in the last year.  The releases bore me, the forum REALLY bores me, and the pace of any new content is just a shame.

Command and Steel Beasts, with a little Graviteams mixed in, are the one I play the most now.

I like Battlefront, and particularly like the CM series (both WW2 & modern warfare) but how I wish someone would try some different aspect of the former conflict. Theater of War was a flawed game (the infantry modelling particularly) but the first game was set during the German invasion of Poland & France, giving a far more interesting array of tanks & armoured cars  to play with - doesn't anyone else get bored squaring up against a Panther or Tiger with your Sherman(s)? For me its far more interesting (& usually closer range) trying your PZKW 3 against a Char B, or one of Britians early armoured cars against a Puma, The other good thing about early armour of the era is it's more vulnerable - bringing infantry more into the equation. Ironically the poor military effectiveness & diversity of early armour is exactly what makes it interesting - and for me a better game.

That is actually why I like CMBB and the Graviteam...T-26s vs Pz IIs or Pz 38s.  To me, you can only fight so many times with Shermans vs Panthers and Tigers?  How many times can the Bulge be re-fought?

As many times as they make it....
