 My Top Five....

Empire Total War--- 608 hrs.

Rome 2 Total War-- 487 hrs.

Skyrim-------------- 286 hrs.

Shogun 2 Total War- 250 hrs.

Napoleon Total War- 242 hrs.

Followed closely by Pillars of Eternity- 226 hrs, and Civil War 2- 202 hrs. I had no idea I'd spent so much time playing ETW and so little playing POE. The only games I've not finished of the bunch are Rome 2 and Skyrim. And Pillars, which I've finished the base game but still am winding my way through the White March.

Alea Jacta Est - 143 hrs on record

Heh, and I thought that I really like rpg's and simulators. Not on this list - Graviteam Tactics, which I played a lot, including all of the DLC's, but purchased it on Gamersgate.
Also, AJE should get at least about 50 more hours, since it was my most played AGEOD game for PBEM's even before it hit steam.

Just out of interest I did a quick analysis on these numbers and while I might delve into them more deeply collectively these hours represent 1 person playing games 24 hours a day for 7 days a week for 5.24 year!

My real IL2 stats must be much higher, since I disconnected my copy from Steam a good while back and there were then a couple of years when I played 8-9 hours a week.   It shows pretty much what I expected - I'm much more likely to stay with a game if there's a MP/social aspect to it.  Although I'd be interested to know how many hours I've sunk into CMBB and CMx2.

SotS 2:  206 hrs (though I probably played 1 more, it was pre-steam)
Empire: Total War:  166 hrs
Rome: Total War 2: 148 hrs (though both total war hrs probably skewed by 25% as I'd often leave my computer on overnight in the middle of a battle)

Tie for 5th- Endless Legend and Civ: Beyond Earth 117 hrs
