Oh I crumbled at the last second and bought Attila.

Gusington's fault.  :knuppel2:

Also picked up Attila in the final minutes along with the Charlemagne DLC (sick of using my son's ID - get kicked when he wants to play). Also grabbed Age of Empires II HD

That Attila TW Age of Charlemagne, properly modded, is quite sassy.

Cyrano

End of the Steam Sale has become a reminder to me that, yeah, the holidays are over.

You didn't know? My Corps has already sailed to Berlin. We got there 3 days ago and we've been in the Tiergarten on the piss ever since. -- Marshal Soult, October 1806

We should get some Groghead MP battles going! I don't know if it's me, but Attila seems a lot harder than the other TWs.

Bardolph

Broke down with minutes to go and bought Panzer Corps Gold and rFactor 2 (racing sim).
Was debating hard about picking up WiTE and Assetto Corsa (another racing sim) as well but managed to talk myself down.
Picked up Battle Academy 2 at the start of the sale.

Not sure why Panzer Corps got my attention this time round, I've fiddled with the demo before and never jumped. In my prime WiTE would have been a sure thing, but watching videos of gameplay gave me pause. I may be past my "monster game" phase after all, though I have a weird desire to buy a copy of War In Europe every now and then.

Shelldrake

Nothing for me on the Steam Sale but I did just buy XCOM2 on Gamersgate sale for a good price.

Just curious....was it a Steam key? I haven't bought much from Gamersgate recently but when I did it was for a Steam key.

Silent Disapproval Robot

Didn't buy much.

Battlefleet: Gothic

Blood & Wine DLC for Witcher III.

Tuna yes it has been generally discussed here and elsewhere online that Attila TW is one of the more difficult in the series...Normal difficulty is really Hard, etc.

SDR have you begun Blood & and Wine yet? I can't wait to jump back in to Witcher 3.

Yes, it was a Steam key. Download is going to take a long time - I will just leave it downloading while I go to work.

Yup, it's full of poncy Frenchmen mincing around in extra fancy full plate armor.

Endless space 2

And one of those absolutely everything ever packages for company of heroes 2 for £10 - I wasn't bothered after hearing the original release was pants but the whole thing was rejuvenated by the Ardennes add on

I did end up buying a couple of things, though not wargames:

  • LIMBO
  • INSIDE
  • Concealed Intent
All seem like games that will be relaxing when my brain is not in the mood for thinking...
