We were below 20 all day yesterday, school was cancelled today because of ice we got over night, today it got over 40 and we just had a Server Thunderstorm Warning pop up, 3 minutes after we started to get hit by it in the last half hour.

Kids are still out tomorrow b/c they haven't gotten all the rural roads in the county cleared yet.

I'm back to teaching tomorrow though.

Actually got out for a bit today.

It's about 72 outside right now and partly cloudy with a high pressure system pushing in over the western Texas plains, which will pass through southeast Texas by this weekend, bringing a 60% chance of precipitation all weekend.  :bd:

70 and cloudy here in West TN. Rainy and gloomy all week; the Weather Channel (admittedly not the best record here) thinks we'll be getting muggy rain for at least two more weeks, pretty constantly.    When I looked at the weather map I could see why they'd guess that.

Apparently we have a "slight" chance of snow here for today and tomorrow ....what did we get instead so far? High gusts of wind that sounds scarily bad on the roof upstairs , a never ending black cloud that seems to have swallowed the sun .....but that's cos you guys are getting all the sun , harumpf  give it back I say !!! I guess this is the perils off living on the Atlantic coast , gonna have to tie the house down at this rate , just to stop the whole thing from flying off  :o

74 Degrees and sunny here in Fla. My grandkids went to the beach this past weekend.

It was windy here last night. My garbage can fell over. Never forget!

Wind has been brutal all day today, with gusts from 40-60 km/h (25-38 mph) and a steady howl at about half that rate. Snow was drifting up everywhere. The wind chill tonight might hit -40 C (also -40 F. Yay!).

Then again, they're forecasting -6 C (21 F) for Friday. That's one Hell of a shift if it proves to be true.

55 right now.  Thunderstorm moved through last night and more on the way.  Flood advisory is out for the county.  Temps are supposed to drop about 30 degrees in the next 18 hours.
