Anyone have opinion on Witcher 2? I liked the original.

It's a huge system hog.  Now that I've got my spiffy new PC, I'm finally able to play the game that some kind soul gifted to me almost a year ago.

My rig is relatively new. How about Alan Wake? Oh, and E.Y.E is on sale again for 2.49.

I think you'll like Alan Wake.  It's good some good spooky to it at times.  The game is very atmospheric and the environments look amazing.  Combat mechanics are pretty repetitive though.

Sadly I have not fired up my uber-copy of Fallout New Vegas yet. However the reviews for it from dudes here are simply stellar. I will hazard a guess and say for 5 dollah you cannot go wrong.

Tempted to go for Alan Wake but more interested in E.Y.E and for 2.50 what the hey.

Even with all the low prices on good games today, I still have limited time though. I think that, more than anything else, has led me to not purchase anything. Could I have actually matured??

Note that this is not the ultimate version with all of the DLC included.

Shelldrake is correct. Steam is offering Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition at 75% off - $9.99: "....For the first time in one package, you can get all the Fallout: New Vegas content including the full suite of highly acclaimed add-on content: Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues and Lonesome Road. To sweeten the pot, you'll be armed with the latest cache of unique weapons, ammo types and recipes from the most recent add-on packs: Courier's Stash and Gun Runners Arsenal...."
Regardless of how good a PC game may be it will always have its detractors and no matter how bad a PC game may be it will always have its fans.

Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition is pretty awesome.

And I don't remember it being much of a "system hog", though I guess it won't run that smoothly on high settings on older PCs.

^Did you like it better than the original? Is it a game I should make time to play?

I liked EYE Divine Cybermancy.

Strange setting, even for a cyberpunk type.  Lotsa shooting but the RPG side of things is what sold me.   I like to purchase new shiny skills & weapons & cybernetics for more pew pew - the kind with lotsa numbers!  :)

I really liked both of them. Can't say which I like better though.

Nefaro

At $5, I also grabbed Fallout New Vegas

Despite giving me a headache with it's crappy default FOV, it looks like I can still mod it to a widescreen monitor-friendly 90 degrees, like Fallout 3.

Picked up the Gratuitous Battles pack and the Fallout Vegas Bundle for short change. Too much love not to get in on that action.

Just got Witcher 2, and I am currently downloading the Take on Helicopters Hind bundle that was gifted (!) to me.

For cyberpunk I am going to hold out for the newest Deus Ex...I have a much better vibe on that than E.Y.E
