Burden of Command Announced

I'm struggling with the tutorial as well which has prevented me from diving in deeper
The left/right combo is frustrating me - dont know why but I seem to be not finding it intuitive
The orders system and turns system hasn't clicked yet
The tutorial is really not interesting to me
I think my monitor setup is not playing nice as arrows, help boxes and character portraits all overlap at inconvenient times so I cant read or see what is selected
I am trying to power through to get to the good stuff I hear about but honestly I keep putting it down after about 10 mins

Well now its crashing every couple of mins on me.

I'm going to put it back on the shelf until its in better shape - I am really disliking the tutorial and videos and commentary etc and there is just tons of it Ive decided its not for me until you can skip it.
Call me old fashioned I like a manual and some examples in it and start playing and learning
Plus the crashes are annoying as hell

Con-What crashes are you having?  I've had a very stable experience, but if you are having crashes, we want to get them taken care of.

I've had three where it sent a bug report via the system
Then I have a bunch where the program seems to be unstable and just closes
These last ones I suspect are more windows driven on my side so I'm working on repairing my windows files

I know people are raving about this - but it looks very text heavy to me.

Also - reviews say how utterly shite the tuorial is. Great game - awful, tooth pulling tutorial seems to be the consensus. And apparently no way to avoid said tutorial.

You know I've really tried to like this game and I think this is a first for me but I have to put a big negative on this game

The save system is rage inducing - why because you cant save - why is this important because the game is opaque on what the F its doing
Your forced to go through a tutorial that actually doesnt teach you all the useful stuff you need - moral and orders so when you inevitably screw up you fail cause you sit there with no orders and no understanding of why and how to improve it why it got so bad and inability to do anything or read about it - instead you go out and figure out the most important mechanics yourself
The sequencer of clicks right click left click portrait click space bar to pass a turn but not really pass a turn but move to a sequence is rife with human error failings - so off march your men with out a leader because some sequence of arcane clicks were not done
For a game that wants you to emphasize leadership you instead have to treat it like chess logics - you cant pass squads through each other - so its more of a move puzzle builder - cause lord forbid you would want to do something like leapfrog squads through each other but nope only 1 squad per hex at all times - so the game forces you to run into open areas and have your men get shot up rather than any semblance of real life

I'm really venting because I spent 5 hours today trying to push through it and got bogged down for the above reasons and in order to start again from a smaller level of understanding I need to go and replay several hours of the Morocco scenario again - basically its asinine and I don't have the time for that level of inflexibility
