GO SEAHAWKS!!

We can't be friends anymore.

Please tell me you're not a Rams or 49'ners fan???  :idiot2: :knuppel2:

Nah.  He's a Packers fan.  I was just trying to get a rise out of him.  I hate the Seahawks almost as much as he does.

HATERS!!!!!!!  :knuppel2: :tickedoff:

Quit employing Pete Carroll and I will relent (a smidge).

I won't. Don't care who coaches or plays for them, I'll always hate the hawks.  :)
PanzersEast: Have to think to myself.... will I play the first one by the Winter Sale?  Probably not, then I should remove Dragonfall
PanzersEast: but that is thinking too logically.... and Steam Sales are about ignoring Logic

This weekend I will be playing some JTS Campaign Leipzig PBEM, Conquest of the New World, and I just started playing Arcanum for the first time. Rolled up a
Elf mage who sold his soul to a demon for increased magical power what could go wrong?

I think I'm going to stop working so hard and play a few rounds of Patton's Best to see how well it flows and if it can be translated well enough into a PBF game here.

Arctic Blast

Sniper Elite 4 on the PC. Venom Assault, Liberty or Death, Mechs vs. Minions and Time of Crisis on the table.

Keep us updated on that!

Speaking of PBF games, our GROGS OF CRISIS campaign is going along nicely.

Also, I finally got Turn 8 of my DC:Blitz game with Barth sent back to him. I'll need a few more days for the AAR video.
ICEBREAKER THESIS CHRONOLOGY! -- Victor Suvorov's Stalin Grand Strategy theory, in lots and lots of chronological order...
Dawn of Armageddon -- narrative AAR for Dawn of War: Soulstorm: Ultimate Apocalypse
Survive Harder! -- Two season narrative AAR, an Amazon Blood Bowl career.
PanzOrc Corpz Generals -- Fantasy Wars narrative AAR, half a combined campaign.
Khazâd du-bekâr! -- narrative dwarf AAR for LotR BfME2 RotWK campaign.
RobO Q Campaign Generator -- archived classic CMBB/CMAK tool!

I played not quite a full day of Patton's Best...I need to read through the rules again. Pretty sure I was screwing some things up.

I did get to play some Firefly: The Game. Great stuff.  :smitten:

So miffed. All I wanted to do this weekend was play VR games, but I did something evil to my neck and I've been in excruciating pain. I did manage to fly around in VTOL VR for about an hour (fantastic game) but it was hard to enjoy with the restrictions I had in not being able to move my stupid head around. Ugh...

I did manage to get in some time with Stellaris this past weekend.  Ended up starting a new game when I realized just how hamstrung one can be if you take the "Pacifist" ethic.  That one really needs to be re-balanced.

Hard to be a pacifist when on of the X's in 4X games is eXterminate.   ;)

Nah. I'll continue to procrastinate and suffer. With a wife who is an anesthesiologist, you'd think I'd have access to some of the world's most powerful pain meds. I'm starting to think she enjoys watching me squirm.

Well that explains the endless gaming budget
Insert witty comment here.

Haha! The lawyer/doctor combination is deadly for most recreational pursuits.

Sir Slash

The greatest stress on a new marriage is lack of finances. Here's how to avoid that.

The first year you're married, every time you have sex, you put a quarter in a jar. After the first year, every time you have sex, take a quarter out of the jar. You'll NEVER run out of quarters. Problem solved.

Smartass.  :P

My biggest problem with the Pacifist ethic in Stellaris is that you can't simply declare war on someone.

Instead, you're limited to defensive wars and "liberation wars" -- which would be obviously appropriate for a pacifistic nation, except that then you can't do much about that neighboring empire who's been really pissing you off for the last decade or two.  You can try and provoke someone into attacking you (thus triggering a defensive war), or you can start a liberation war against them if they've conquered planets belonging to a friend/ally, sure.  But unless/until *they* declare war on *you*, Pacifist nations otherwise have few options for dealing with troublesome neighbors.
