A few things I noticed from the first round:

1) Beatles hate is real.  And I don't know why

2) Seven blowout wins.  The only close race were The Animals and The Kinks.  One vote gave it to Eric Burdon and the boys.

3) I got exactly one second round matchup up correct: The Righteous Brothers challenging The Four Tops

4) Beatles hate really is real.  Three years in a row, three years shut down early.

5) I obviously have no clue what kind of 60's music you guys like.  If you look back at the Winners Thread: http://grogheads.com/forums/index.php?topic=19798.0 you'll notice that no 1 seed has one in that Decade.  The other three have at least one 1 seed.
