Well hopefully I'll be able to get a few turns in all our Armada 2526 PBEM campaigns.  Am currently having a couple "technical difficulties", however...

Nothing serious I hope!
Fortunately not.  Looks like I got things moving again.  :)

I'm a bit restless at the moment.  Last night I played a bit of Rift but couldn't be arsed with anything else.  However, completely unexpectedly, today I started a new game of Anno 1404 and really enjoyed it, so I'll probably plug away at that again tonight.

Edit: Oh!  Played a bit of Nuclear Dawn just before passing out last night and had a blast, so I'll probably play some more of that tonight, too.

I've been playing the ultimate game for two days now. Ultimate if you like tension and frustration... DayZ!

Started re-playing Dawn of War 2 a few nights back, so that will possibly continue. I'll try to get in some more L.A. Noire as well. And since I just bought Wargame : European Escalation on sale at Steam, I'll probably give that a try as well.

ooooo let me know how that goes - before the sale i nearly bought it, when i saw the sale i very very nearly bought it but have subsequently fallen in love with CK2 and the gaming roster is full for now

I had a fantastic game of Nuclear Dawn last night!  Played it for even longer than I did Anno 1404.  I suck at shooters so I don't know what it is about this game but it seems to agree with me.  My kill/death ratio in ND is 0.44 which is great for me. :D

I've been trying to play The Secret World, but had some patching issues, so I've not got in yet.

I've been dabbling with Summoner Wars on the iPad, as well as Levee en Masse.

I downloaded Dark Scavenger an indie storied RPG, and Spellforce 2 newest stand alone expansion, RPG/RTS Hybrid.

All the while trying to squeeze in my Case Blue AAR.

Because what I received was a different copy of the game, one that appears to have DRM on it.

Also, the local Target store has the same copy (the copy I ordered, not the copy I actually received) for a few bucks cheaper.  It wasn't really a factor in my decision -- the whole DRM bit was my main concern -- but it's admittedly a nice little bonus.  :)

I've done something odd for a change:

Started up a 15-day 'welcome back' Free Trial for Dark Age Of Camelot MMO.

It has held up surprisingly well for being 11 years old.  Looks fairly good, too.  They must've had some major graphics overhaul in an expansion a few years ago.  Although some of the old interface annoyances are still there, like having to use a couple slash commands still.

I always heard that the end-game Realm vs Realm is da best, and never got that far before.  Nowadays the XP gain is increased so much that you can hit max level (50) in about 25 hours played, reportedly.

I really like it, it's a states of siege boardgame conversion, but is very nicely presented. The release version had some memory leak issues, with graphical lag and crashes later on, but it's had about 3 updates since release and those issues are addresses now. Simple mechanics, but fits the historical setting.

Worth a punt if you like states of seize games.

I bought it despite a full gaming roster...so dive in!  ;D

Not sure when I'll get to playing this, but I'll probably talk about it when I do.

haha. I played for three months when it was new, many days for 8+ hours, and only got my char up to level 34.

DaoC was my first experience with MMORPG. It was the thought of PvP that kept me going all those hours. I had a few tiny skirmishes that were very exciting, but any sizable battle turned into a lag fest.  40-60 players all hitting an NPC castle boss at the same time, and finally killing him 10-20 minutes later while the frame rate is about 5-10 per minute.

I realized that the game was just static as the same castles would keep changing hands over and over. It was DaoC I have to thank that I never got sucked into WoW. Probably better done, but WoW is just another level treadmill for a world that you can't really change in any meaningful way.

The only other MMORPG I tried was Shadowbane. The graphics sucked but it was amazing as the players set up their own nations and built entire cities. Guilds would go to war and if you lost, your city could become a ruin. Thieves could actually steal from other players, etc. Too bad it finally got cancelled.
